ABOUT ONE BUFFALO

The One Buffalo initiative was created by Kim Pegula in October 2014, following the purchase of the Buffalo Bills. One Buffalo gave Western New York sports fans an instant platform to unite as one with the Bills, Sabres, Bandits and Rochester Americans coming together under one umbrella. Kim’s goal in the creation of One Buffalo was to extend beyond sports, using the area’s teams to create a deeper community connection throughout Western New York.

One Buffalo has created many new avenues for Western New Yorkers to show their community pride. Kim’s daughters, Jessie and Kelly, have designed an extensive line of apparel that has become extremely popular, using both One Buffalo and One Buf markings. Pegula Sports and Entertainment (PSE) has worked with several partners to produce food and beverage products that celebrate the passion of the region, such as Southern Tier’s One Buffalo Beer, Perry’s One Buffalo Premium Ice Cream, and Redland Foods’ One Buffalo Peanuts.

Today, the My One Buffalo mobile app puts the latest innovative sports technology at the fingertips of Bills, Sabres and Bandits fans. On the app, users can purchase and manage their tickets for all events at New Era Field, KeyBank Center and HarborCenter. They can view venue maps and check up to the minute wait times at entrance gates and concession stands. Fans can use the app to be connected to one-of-a-kind experiences such as on-field passes, behind the scenes access, and special offers. The My One Buffalo app also gives its users traffic updates, tracks the location of parked cars, and is fully integrated with Uber.

One Buffalo is deeply rooted in community initiatives that make Western New York a special place to live. Each month, the One Buffalo Community Award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to make this region a better place to live. Bills players honor a local organization at each home game as the One Buffalo Organization of the Game. Buffalo and Erie County Public Libraries also use One Buffalo to promote literacy with the One Buffalo Library Card.

One Buffalo serves as a representation of teamwork and creates a deeper connection between Buffalo sports teams, fans and the community. It represents optimism in our region’s future and celebrates its rich history. It gives families and friends in Western New York another great opportunity to come together as one: One Team, One Goal, One Community, One Family, One Buffalo.
